Dedicated to Growth

The Joukowsky Family Foundation is a private charitable foundation based in New York City. The Foundation (first established as a trust in 1981) was incorporated in New York State in 1983 and is a not-for-profit organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Joukowsky Family Foundation's primary focus of giving is on education. The Foundation also supports a wide range of cultural, social, archaeological, and historical activities.

Since its creation in 1981, the Joukowsky Family Foundation has devoted its philanthropic efforts to people and programs that honor and support the principles of racial and social justice.

Earlier this year, a member of the Joukowsky Family Foundation board posted a comment in a public forum that has been perceived by some as insensitive. The board member sincerely regrets the remark made and apologizes for any offense the comment provoked. Furthermore, the Foundation and its entire board reaffirms its 39-year-old commitment to the advancement of equality and justice, regardless of religion, race, or gender orientation.
